Top of the Heart
Hey there stranger, as you can probably see, this is a journal for me to grow in Christ and gather all who believe in Jesus the Christ whose blood died for our sins and rose and conquered Death on the third day so that we won't perish in Hell.
As stated, this journal is a place for me to have a relationship with God, and for nothing else, but that may change with time when my faith grows stronger.

So long I don't stop going to various functions throughout the week, I will not stop studying the Bible. I have been going to the Sunday service (and trying to go to the evening one as well), joined a club at school for christian believers that happen on Tuesdays between two of my classes, and not to mention the youth group on Wed as well. And then there's the Fridays function where people get together and have fun as believers. Then I am able to stay inspired--as long as I don't retreat from the real world. o_O
And of course, I have you, Frankie. :] So, I'm glad I'm getting out of the house, even though I've not really talked to people, but I believe that will come with time. Its hard to communicate. X.x Anyway! Because of this, and I have an hour of free time, I will get to the Bible study. Forget mornings. I'm just going to do when I can do them each day. Lest I am wrecked with guilt when I go to sleep (as I have been when I didn't study the Word. So, here goes.

Unfortunately, my stubborness refused to stay by that pattern in the mornings, so I have returned to how it was before I began wakinp up at such hours of the morning. The school is stressful, and I am not feeling very inspired to study the Bible, even though I really, really should. I really want to become a walking Bible. But that's not enough, what's important is that I am to act Christly. I don't think I am doing such a good job of that either. -sighs- I still find the fact that shonen-ai is really hot.

I know its very short, but this is all I can do now. I swore that I will not eat a thing if I don't study the Bible for the day, although I forgot about that yesterday, but then again, I had many on my plate yesterday... so its understandable. Well, need to get ready for school now.

Its been a long time since I have posted here, much less any study. But, I did keep reading the Bible, but that, too, stopped a week later. I tried reciting the versese in my head, but that wasn't often enough. I told mysely that I will do the reading, studying, memorizing at this time and such, but never happened. So, I told myself--do or die. Pretty much.
I had a disturbing dream last night--I tried to kill myself, shot in the head twice. And I told you--Frankie, about it on AIM but seemed not to care. And somehow, you were in the other room. O.o At least in dreammoods.com, it means that it could be me saying bye to a trait of mine or something like that. Also, you said you got fed up with me cycling to and from God and that I should just stop. -shakes head- Last night, I told myself that I will study when I woke up (which is now) or I will fast for the rest of the day to remind me how hungry I really am for God's Word. Anyway--onwards to studying! I'm really excited about studying the next few chapters.

Chains of Sin
Summary
In this chapter, Paul wrote about how God used the Law to show us how sinful we were, to show the way of righteous living. But in fact, brings the nature of sin to life. Paul says it does not mean that the law is sinful, but rather, the sin in ourselves, being reminded by what we knew of the law. The law actually brings about a spiritual death when we know of it and still commit sin anyway--even though we hate it. We can't help it--it is in our flesh that continues to sin.
People
Paul writing, using himself as examples of how law can bring sin alive into ourselves.
Choiice Verse
Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God's law, but because of my sinful nature Ii am a slave to sin. Romans 7:25
Crucial Words
Sin, law, obey
Challenges
Some of the challenges is understanding how can one sin even more with the knowledge of the law? Inspired, even. When Paul said how the law said "Do not covet" had actually reminded him to covet things. It is because the sin in ourselves to sin and decieve ourselves with the law. God created the laws to show us how sinful we were. Still--the fact that the law reminds us to sin?
Christ Seen
Again, Jesus is the way to break ourselves away from the chains of sin by dying with Christ. With him, we can live in the Spirit instead of the law.
Central Lesson and conclusion
The fact that I now understand the need to give laws to us from God--I never really knew why he gave us the law. Just that it was neccessary and that way, we can see where we should not do this or that. The law helps us see where our ways are filled with errors and will bring death if we break the law--which we will have once we knew and understood the laws. With Jesus, we can be free from the law and in essence, sin as well.

Free From Master Sin
Summary
This chapter six talks about the fact that we cannot serve two masters--one to sin, and the other to God. Since we were bapitised, we died and buried with Christ and we now live with Him. We are slaves to holiness, there is no reason for us to sin anymore because they are not our master anymore. In sin, we are dead to God without Christ--we cannot break that without dying and coming back. Jesus did this for us so that we can live a life of holiness and no longer need to keep on sinning.
Chief People
The only person mentioned in this passage is Jesus, and an ideological person of Master Sin (which could be looked at as Satan).
Choice Verse
For we ded and were buried with Christ by baptsm. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives. (Romans 6:4)
Crucial Words
Some of the most used words were: sin, and free. We were slaves to sin and now we are free with the deeath of Christ.
Challenges
The mere fact that I am completely free, I no longer need to sin anymore. I have to accept this true and make it a part of me, of my mind, of my soul and heart. I have no reason to keep on sinning because of Jesus. One challenge is that I might either forget it or (most times) disregard it because I want to remain friends with others who encourage some of the things I don't want to do anymore.
Christ Seen
He is the chain-breaker of our sins, the one who broke the life of sins so that we may have life with God.
Central lessons and Conclusion
What I have learned is that--why? Why should I have to keep on sinning? Christ have broken that need to sin because we are no longer their master.
The fact that sinning brings death, but believing, trusting Christ and living a holy life is what our new master is. With Christ, we are obligated to live a holy life. What better way to bring glory to God than by living a life worthy of God?

Undeserving Grace
Summary of its Content
In the first part of the chapter talks about how we do not deserve grace of God's grace. All sinned because Adam sinned, so all came unto death, even before the law was given. The law was given so that we may know how sinful we were. But we are now made right in God's sight because we put our faith in Jesus Christ.
In the second half of the chapter, Paul contrasted the difference between Adam and Jesus. The fact that Adam sinned brought us all into sin, and we all deserved death. As for Jesus, he is without sin and allowed anyone who believe, to have life with God.
Key Verse
Romans 5:15-16
But there is a great difference between Adam's sin and God's gcacious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater s God's wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through ths other man, Jesus Christ. 16 And the result of God's gracious gift is very dfferent from the result of that one man's sin. for Adam's sin led to condemnation, but God's free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins.
That pretty sums up the passage.
Chief People
Adam and Jesus Christ were the ones being contrasted in this passage.
Crucial Words
Some of the words that we need to focus on in this passage are: grace, condemnation, sinners, death, gift, and "made right". These words were repeated the most in the passage, and the message ended with the topic of grace.
Challenges
In this passage, there is nothing I have hard time understanding or aceepting. I understand it fully and I fully accept the grace of God.
Chris Seen
He is what is being compared to Adam and his sin. Jesus is the one who can take the sins of man away.
Central Lesson
What I have learned from this passage is the apparent contrast between Adam and Jesus. That even without law, people still died in their sins. The law was made so that we can understand just how sinful we actually are. Also, there was a small passage in the chapter that without trials, we can't build up our endurance which leads to build up of strength of character--leading to strengthening of our confidence that we have hope of salvation and this hope will not lead to disappointment. (paraphrased from Romans 5:3-5)
Conclusion
In this chapter, it really opened my eyes to how the sin nature operates and the contrast between Adam and Jesus was something else.
